Component 1 – Result 1
 Component 1 - Business Support and Innovation
Result 1: one incubator centre established in Constanta and ready for
operation in support of start-ups in the maritime sector
 We have evaluated more than 80 ideas of varying quality in the business
idea competitions
 9 ideas have been developed into business plans and 5 business plans
have been selected for incubation/incubation





Vitrum Expert SRL – patent on magnetic microblinds
Celerco SRL – Matching buyers and providers of transport and logistic solutions
ROMAR SRL – Public relations and communication services for maritime sector
Sea Land Computing – developing a Romanian maritime portal

 Result 2: one student/teacher exchange
programme developed and implemented for at
least 20 students and 10 visiting teachers
› 4 students completed the master degree programme
in System and Product design at Aalesund
› one student is enrolled into the master programme in
Logistics at Molde University
› 10 students have completed one semester Exchange
Programme at Aalesund and Molde University for one
semester
› 6 students have attended one week best practice
module

 2 teachers have visited Aalesund University College,
Aalesund Vocational Training Center and Vesfold
University to gather information for the study on
Maritime Education in Norway and in Romania
 3 teachers from Naval Academy have been trained in
CFD at Aalesund University College
 4 teachers have attend courses on Crisis Management
at Aalesund University
 1 teacher CMU has been a visiting professor for 2
months at Aalesund University College
 1 teacher from CMU has been a visiting professor for
one month at Molde University

 Result 3: two joint Master Programmes in
navigation/maritime transportation and naval
engineering developed and certified
› One master Programme in Marine Engineering is
developed and it allows Romanian students to study
for one semester at Aalesund University College
› One master Programme in Port ans ship Management
is developed and it allows Romanian students to
study for one semester at Molde University College

(including refurbishment works, equipment and course

purchase of research and simulation equipment,
researcher training and workshops)
– Measurements of the Underwater Noise On The Romanian
Continental Platform of The Black Sea and The Impact On The
Ecosystem With Economical Implications
– objectives
• determine ambient underwater noise in the Black Sea;
• measure the underwater noise in the Romanian coastal region of
the Black Sea;
• determine the artificial sources of underwater noise from the
Black Sea;
• study the influence of vibrations on the physiological activity of
the Blue Mussel , Round goby and Dolphins
