1. Designed and developed the fault-tolerant subsystem for the Service
Control Point (SCP), a key component of the 800-number system.
Duties included the Execution Manager, which controls the start-up,
shutdown of the SCP, as well as the fault-detection and clearance.
2. Developed the MML (human Machine Language) lexical analyzer and
parser to support SCP human-machine interaction.
3. Also responsible for the SS7 and BX.25 protocol testing using
DECnet/PSI on VAX and VTAM/NCP on IBM.
4. Designed and developed a reentrant shared library using IBM C/370
internal data structure. As a result, won the 1991 Bellcore Quality
Award of Excellence.
5. Designed and developed a dynamic data validation subsystem.
