Joi Scientific™ is committed to delivering transformational projects to developing economy
villages and impoverished vertical villages in cities as part of our socially responsible
contribution to society. Once launched, our Hydrogen 2.0™ One-for-One Program will donate
one royalty-free license to our Hydrogen 2.0 based technology to a village of need for every
commercial license we sell.
Village Quality of Life Initiative
Joi Scientific is dedicated to contributing to the well being of all humanity through the development and commercial
deployment of clean, sustainable and affordable technologies to meet the water, energy and climate needs of an
expanding global population. We acknowledge that many communities are not capable of funding or providing for
the basic needs of their families, leading to hunger, disease and a cycle of economic despair.
Joi Scientific and our partners will collaborate to construct future facilities for education, healthcare, fresh water
production and electricity generation. Together, these crucial elements of life quality will be catalysts for change.
With clean water and electricity, food production and small business ventures will be enabled. Education of adults in
the village will be directed toward starting small businesses, and education of youth will lead to sustained evolution
of the village’s future. A small area of the building will also be partitioned as a health center enabled by reliable
electricity and clean water.
Scope of Program
Future Village Quality of Life projects will be designed to support the basic water, electricity, health and education
requirements for a village of up to 200 people. We will partner with leading solar, fuel cell, information technology,
education and school building enterprises to install village complexes that source fresh water, electricity and child/
adult education sufficient to meet their life, food production and business venture requirements today and for the
foreseeable future.

Enabling Technology
Rooftop solar energy will be exploited to the maximum possible and stored in hydrogen fuel cells at peak periods
for 24-hour service via Joi Scientific’s Hydrogen 2.0 technology. Energy requirements beyond what can be supplied
by solar will be produced via hydrogen generated from otherwise useless salt-ridden water using Joi Scientific’s
technology.
Brackish groundwater will be desalinated with Joi Scientific’s highly efficient system, providing abundant volumes
of fresh water sufficient for even irrigation. Where such groundwater or ocean water does not exist, facilities to
produce salt water will be included in the installation.
Internet and computer-based education will be sourced for the various classroom demands via satellite if necessary
and powered by hydrogen fuel cells. The completed complex will be a sustainable source of hope, a future of
empowerment and quality of life for each village.
Partner Ecosystem
Joi Scientific will develop partnerships with collaborating technology companies to create an integrated solution.
We will begin with three pilot projects. This proof of concept phase will be funded through grants sourced from
institutions committed to economic development and social justice for impoverished humanity. These donors
will continue as members of our consortium to assist in future projects and to enable mechanisms to sustain
these facilities once they are operational. Our successful construction and start up of these village centers will
demonstrate a sustainable vehicle for disadvantaged peoples to become economically independent and capable
contributors to our global economy.
