Important information about your HSA brokerage/investment account
Dear Account Holder:
We are writing to you about your brokerage/investment account tied to your Health Savings Account (HSA)
at The Bancorp Bank. This notice explains the current options available to you as your HSA is transferred to
HealthEquity, Inc. As described in more detail below, in order to view and manage all of your HSA funds in
one location, you will need to take action.
Please note: These options do not constitute legal or tax advice on the part of The Bancorp Bank or
HealthEquity. You may wish to consult your tax or financial advisor.
As you know, The Bancorp Bank recently sent you a letter advising you of upcoming changes to your HSA.
If you liquidate your investment account BEFORE November 30, 2015:
The funds will sweep back to your current HSA at The Bancorp Bank and will be included in your balance
transfer to HealthEquity in early December. This option gives you the advantage of seamlessly keeping
all your funds together and the ability to view and manage them in one location at HealthEquity
beginning December 7, 2015.
If you liquidate your investment account AFTER November 30, 2015:
The Bancorp Bank will transfer the funds to HealthEquity on your behalf following your liquidation. We will
give you 30 days’ advance written notice if we discontinue this transfer service.
Until you liquidate your investment account and The Bancorp transfers the funds, you will not see your funds
reflected in your HealthEquity account balances. This means you will need to maintain two separate logins –
one at Streetscape for NFS and one at HealthEquity – in order to view and manage your funds.
Fee waiver
The Bancorp Bank will refund you for fees incurred for SELL trades resulting from the liquidation of your
HSA investment account. This refund is retroactive to November 2, 2015 for any SELL fees you incur since
receiving our custodial resignation letter.
HealthEquity investment platform
The enclosed flier contains information about the wide variety of new investment options available to you
at HealthEquity. You can begin to take advantage of these opportunities once your balances transfer in
early December.
If you have questions about this transition as it relates to your HSA investment account with The Bancorp Bank,
please contact Customer Care at 800.555.9316. For questions about this transition as it relates to your new HSA,
please contact HealthEquity at 877.915.3233.
It has been our pleasure to serve you.
Sincerely,
The Bancorp
