Please bring water and avoid eating up to 30 minutes before taking a class. - Consult with your physician before participating. Participation indicates you have no physical condition or health problems. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS Participants in the warm water pool are recommended to wear water shoes at all times! Aqua Arthritis: Warm water recreational exercise program designed for people with impaired joint motion. The purpose is to reduce pain and stiffness and increase joint range of motion while having fun with basic resistance movements and water walking. Beginners welcome! Aqua Arthritis PLUS: Warm water class building on the stamina and movements learned in the Basic Arthritis Class. Class includes additional cardio endurance walking segments and resistance training segments designed to increase range of motion, strength and stamina. Aqua Fusion: A lap pool class that features an interval workout utilizing a variety of multi-muscle exercises that strengthen and lengthen your muscles in diverse ways. Aqua Tabata : An interval based class to get your metabolism confused. Intervals consist of 20-30 seconds of a particular move and then a recovery. We will mix in lots of equipment to challenge all of our muscle groups as well. Aqua Zumba: Known as the Zumba "pool party," Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, and even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba class. Aqua Zumba blends a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. Aquatastic: Are you ready to challenge yourself while having fun at the same time? Come and get your heart rate pumping, work on your core and utilize all of the pool equipment. Aquatic Boot Camp: Boot Camp H20 aquatic fitness is a HIGH INTENSITY water fitness program that provides the benefits of a pool, with little to no impact on joints and expands lung capacity, as well as the benefits of weight and resistance training of a traditional gym. This program is UNIQUE because it is a crosstraining of swimming, water polo, water aerobics, modified plyometrics, and traditional strength and cardiovascular exercises. Core & More: A core focused aerobic/tone circuit class designed to increase strength and stamina. There are 4 circuits focusing on abs, oblique, back and arms. Each circuit gets progressively more challenging as you develop cardio endurance and core strength. The progressive circuit approach empowers beginners to improve at their own pace while giving advanced users a complete hard-core workout. Get ready to work! Heart & Core: This is an upbeat and challenging class in the warm pool. Your heart will be pumping hard as we utilize all of the equipment and mix in lots of core exercises. This is geared to those that are ready for something more intense but prefer warm water. Hydro Tabata/Strength: This workout includes four sets of Tabata high intensity interval drill segments with four minutes of steady state cardio between segments. The class will end with 20 minutes of strength and balance. Hydro Weight Training: This is a new and exciting way to train. Increase your metabolism using a variety of weights and combined exercises that build strength and endurance. Intense Intervals: This high-energy low impact cardiovascular and body transforming workout will help burn fat and sculpt muscles with short high intensity intervals designed to improve daily functional fitness. You’ll increase endurance and strength to perform daily activities with ease. Class consists of Tabata inspired cardio drills and body sculpting segments that will push you off your plateau with results that are outstanding. Pure Cardio: This is a non-stop, incredibly challenging cardio class designed for those demanding a very high-intensity program. If your goal is to improve your stamina and endurance this workout is perfect for you. We’ll be performing aqua running, plyometric and power movements in both the vertical and horizontal positions. We’ll mix it up by adding equipment to make it even more challenging. Simply Splash: Simply Splash is for people who are beginning a water exercise program. This class is an introduction to cardio endurance, muscular strength and flexibility through creative exercise combinations. Torch & Tone: It’s like two workouts in one! Designed to use compound moves to train multiple muscle groups at one time using light weights and buoyant equipment. Engaging more muscles at one time means you are automatically torching extra calories with every minute. These compound moves drive your body straight into the cardio zone – giving you both strength training and cardio at once. Triple Threat Water Extreme: This class will be divided into 3, 20 minute segments. Each could include periods of High intensity interval cardio and moderate intensity. In the one hour class participants will use a variety of equipment to improve endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and balance. Wake up to a fun and fast paced water workout that is always challenging. Water Fitness Extreme: This class uses both the shallow and the deep end of the lap pool. Water provides great resistance while reducing the amount of stress to the joints. Don’t be afraid of the “deep!” We have flotation belts!
