proteins and their enzymes
Students will identify the principle structures of digestive system
Students will describe the chemical and physical processing of matter
through the digestive system
Chapter 9
Students will identify the principle structures of the respiratory system
Students will explain the exchange of matter between the body and the
environment
Students will explain how the motor system supports body functions.
Chapter 10
Students will describe the structure and function of blood vessels
Students will identify the principal structures of the heart and associated
blood vessels
Students will describe the action of the heart, blood pressure and general
circulation of blood through coronary, pulmonary and systemic pathways
Students will explain the role of blood in regulating body temperature
