An even number is an integer that can be evenly divided by 2, un entier pair. For example,
6 = 3 + 3 = 2 × 3, so 6 is an even number. An integer that is not even is called an odd
number, un entier impair. For example, 7 = 2 × 3 + 1, so 7 cannot be divided evenly by 2
and thus is an odd number.
