Position 1:
Senior Engineer -
Embedded Software Developer
Required Skills:
- Very good knowledge of C programming.
- Good knowledge of Embedded Assembler (ARM, etc)
- Good knowledge of processor technology and its application.
- Experience in programming for Real Time Operating Systems for embedded devices.
- CPLD / FPGA (Lattice, Xilinx, Actel) Schematic / VHDL implementation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Desirable skills:
- MS Windows development
- Networking development (Zigbee, PLC, TCP/IP/Ethernet, GPRS)
- Communication protocol development (RS232, SPI, I2C and Ethernet TCP/IP).
This position is permanent and full-time, and the successful candidate will be based at Data Display’s
main manufacturing plant and group headquarters in Ennistymon, Co. Clare.
Position 2:
Embedded Development Hardware Engineer(1-2 years experience)
Required Skills:
Software programming knowledge of assembly and C
Design of digital electronics circuitry.
Prototype and test of new circuits.
Assisting with circuit diagnostics and fault finding.
Develop working prototypes of new experiences within a rapid development cycle.
Work closely with Firmware and Software Engineers to ensure technology compatibility within
the product architecture.
Facilitate schematic & BOM creation
Person Specification:
Hands-On Hardware Design experience - digital circuits with embedded processors
Good interpersonal skills
An innovative lateral thinker
Hands on team player
Good communication skills
Qualification Level:
BSc or BEng(Hons)/MEng in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer
Engineering.
