Temporary anchorage devices for the orthodontic movement of teeth. Synthes is an established leader in the medical device industry. We have developed, produced and marketed orthopaedic implants since the 1970s. Our goal is to provide high quality, constant innovation and a complete focus on the needs of our customers, by continuously developing better solutions. One such solution is to eliminate unwanted molar movement with orthodontic treatment by providing skeletal anchorage as an alternative to traditional molar anchorage. The Orthodontic Bone Anchor (OBA) System allows more predictable tooth movement in orthodontic applications, by providing skeletal anchorage with screw anchors and plate anchors.
