How is Your School like a Cell?

Directions:
1. Review the parts and functions of a plant cell.
2. Then look at the school map above. A cell can be compared to a school. It is
your job to make analogies between parts of a plant cell and parts of a
school. An example would be the school office represents the nucleus. The
nucleus controls the activities of the cell and the school office controls the
activities of the school.
3. Work with your group mates to label the cell parts on the school map. Use
the words below in the word box.
4. On a separate piece of paper describe your reasoning for labeling that part of
the school.
