Geometry
Introduction: For this project you will work individually creating a piece of artwork using
nothing but triangles.
Objective: SWBAT use the concepts learned in Chapter 4 to create an original piece of
artwork that incorporates congruent triangles and their properties.
Details:
 You will create a piece of original artwork on an 8.5” x 11” piece of paper. Your final
draft will be on the graph paper provided.
 You will only use triangles. If you want other shapes, you must make them out of
triangles.
 Your design must include at least 30 triangles.
 You must use a ruler and protractor (no free hand).
 You must color your design.
 Your design must include at least one of each of the following:
o Acute triangles
o Obtuse triangles
o Right triangles
o Scalene triangles
o Isosceles triangles
o Equilateral/Equiangular triangles
 Your design must include at least one pair of congruent triangles proved by each of
the following:
o SSS
o SAS
o ASA
o AAS
