How are they different?
Bacteria is classified as Living.
Virus is classified as non-living
because it cannot reproduce outside
the cell.
Many harmful bacteria can be
treated with antibiotics.
Many viruses can be prevented with
vaccines (dead/weak viruses)
Bacteria may be rod, spiral or
spherical shapes
Viruses may be crystal shaped,
spherical, hexagonal, octogonal,
icosahedral, cubical, rod etc.
Bacteria is larger than viruses,
containing organelles.
Viruses are much smaller than
bacteria, containing DNA/RNA
strands
