water droplets in the clouds
get big enough, gravity
pulls them down as rain.
SUNLIGHT looks

but it is actually made up of
many different colors. The earth’s

molecules. The gas molecules are so
small that you can’t see them. When
sunlight hits the molecules, they
only reflect blue light. This blue
light is scattered in every
direction and that is
what makes the sky
look blue.

When you look at a rainbow the sun is always behind you
and the rainbow is directly opposite to the sun.
