6.8 Multiplication Properties Vocabulary Factor: a number that is multiplied by another number Product: answer to a multiplication problem Commutative Property (Order Property): You can change the order of factors without changing the product. Example: 5x4=4x5 Associative Property (Grouping Property): You can change the groupings of factors without changing the product.
