The performance is true to Ibsen’s original play and its contemporary environment in both scenography and costumes. For more information about the performance, click here. Nora. Nûrê. A Turkish staging of A Doll’s House. Nora. Nurè combines the story of the two women Nora and Nûrê. The performance challenges the bounda ries between classic and contemporary visions, the East and the West, the tradi tional and the modern. The similarities between the stories of Nûrê, originally told by traditional Kurdish storytellers, and the Norwegian Nora add a universal dimension to Ibsen’s play. For more information, click here.
