team of ophthalmologists led by Jorge Alió MD PhD,
internationally renowned specialist, whose own initiative has
always been the source of our evolution and the achievement of
new projects.
I have been a fellow in Vissum since February 2012 till now and I
have managed and treated all kind of refractive and corneal surgery
(ex. PRK, PTK, LASIK, CXL, Refractive lens surgery, PKP,

surgery….etc).
I have also participated in many conferences like ARI, meetings
and seminars.
I had the opportunity to work in the project of femtosecond laser
cataract surgery and I have participated in the Spanish protocol of
evaluation of this technology and presented many work in the
AAO and ISRS meeting (Chicago 2012). I have also been an
author of four papers and books published in femtosecond laser
assisted keratoplasty and cataract surgery till now.
This current year I have started the knowledge and practice for the
possibility to use the recent nano materials (nanotechnology) in
ocular surgery.
