4. I can describe how producers, consumers, and decomposers interact in an ecosystem.
5. I know the different types of consumers (herbivores, omnivores, carnivores).
6. I know the difference between a food chain and a food web.
7. I can use an energy pyramid to explain how energy flows through a food web.
8. I can predict how an increase or a decrease of one species affects the entire food web.
9. I understand how overpopulation impacts and ecosystem.
10. I can explain the relationship between carrying capacity and limiting factors.
11. I can describe competition within populations and between populations.
