Station 3 – Constructive Forces: Volcanos

Volcanoes are a constructive force in two main ways. When a volcano explodes, it can blast
extremely large amounts of rock and lava quite far - developing hills or even small mountains. It
also releases lava that flows over the ground and cools - hardening into a crust which later forms
soil.
