Proceed to touch bone, 2025mm depth, then retract 12mm. 1-4mm into bulge of tissue distal and buccal to last molar, syringe parallel and usually below occlusal plane of mand. Two: direction of needle insertion in plane with line from contralateral premolar teeth to posterior boarder of the ramus.
