PONDWATER CREATURES
Protista make up most algae we see. They have only
one cell. Some make their own food from the sun,
some eat other living things. Some can move on
their own and some can not.

Archaea are one of the three branches of life. They
are single-celled creatures that get food from sunlight or breaking up chemicals. They move by
swimming with a little tail called a flagella, and
sometimes live in extreme places like in volcanoes
or places that are really salty or acidic.
