Aims To review and practise the past simple affirmative of
regular verbs
Time 10 minutes
Materials 1 handout for each student
• Give each student a handout and tell them to describe the
picture in A in pairs. Get some feedback from the class on
what they can see and what they think the story is about.
• Tell students to complete task A. Check answers as a class,
ensuring accurate pronunciation and spelling of the past
simple forms.
