PRODUCTION SETUP CHECKLIST RECORDING 8AM/GRACE5CITIES MESSAGE EQUIPMENT LIST __ Start WireCast record when service starts __ Start recording on Shogun at Scripture Reading __ Only record CAM1 __ Make notes of time when Pastor starts his message and finishes his prayer at the end __ Make notes of any technical issues (bad audio, noticable camera shake, Pastor going out of frame, etc) __ Stop all recording after prayer, let Pastor walk out of frame __ __ __ __ __ __ Atomos Shogun SSD Recorder Roland VR-50 Video Switcher Matrix Switcher iPad Sony PTZ Remote Macbook Pro Laptop USB Stick PRODUCTION ROOM SETUP (ARRIVE 6:30AM) __ Power up main system on equipment rack __ Power up Atomos Shogun (press button 3 sec) - If Shogun says “NO INPUT” restart __ Connect MBP to power supply __ Connect blue USB cable to MBP __ Connect USB stick to MBP __ Open “MyDocument.wcst” file on desktop to open WireCast software (8 AM ONLY) __ Open QuickTime and choose “New Audio Recording” (9:30&11 AM ONLY) 7AM CAMERA/MIC CHECK (with Pastor speaking at pulpit. Test headset and handheld mic) Settings for 8AM/Grace5Cities Message: __ Set Gain to 9 o’clock postion __ Set Channel Fader to “0” __ Set Master (red) Fader so that audio levels are solid -48 and peak at -30 Settings for 9:30&11AM/Online Message: __ Set Master (red) Fader so that audio levels are solid -18 and peak at -6 Put SSD disk from drive 2 on Shogun, WireCast recording (save to USB Stick), manuscript and backup recording from CAM1 in envelope and give to person taking Media Packet to Grace5Cities AFTER EACH SERVICE __ Switch to COMPUTER GRAPHICS to send between service slides out to campus RECORDING 9:30&11AM/ONLINE MESSAGE __ Start recording at Scripture Reading __ Record CAM1/COMPUTER GRAPHICS __ Make notes of any technical issues or missed slides __ Use PTZ only segments of service broadcast to campus and as back up if Pastor goes out of frame on CAM1 __ Stop recording after prayer, let Pastor walk out of frame AFTER 11AM- SERVICE __ __ __ __ Turn off Shogun (Leave SSD in drive bay) Turn off Main System Close MBP Lock door put keys in Eric’s desk Questions/Problems Call Eric Flores | Tech Director | 805.748.2659
