• Mixed Number – A number that contains both a
whole number greater than 0 and a fraction.
• Equivalent Fractions – Fractions that name the same
amount or part.
• Unlike Fractions – Fractions with different
denominators.
• Least Common Denominator (LCD) – The least
common multiple (LCM) of two or more
denominators.
