Greek Mythology Project: God/Goddess Bloom Ball
What is it?
A Bloom Ball is 3-dimensional project that requires students to complete activities moving them through
the levels of Bloom's Taxonomy from knowledge to synthesis. A Bloom Ball project offers students at all
levels the opportunity to demonstrate their engagement and understand of complex texts. Teachers and
students can customize the activities for each panel, challenging students to create a cohesive whole
representing their learning.
-
A Bloom Ball is created by attaching 12 paper circles together to make a sphere (that looks like a
soccer ball.)
-
On each circle, you will write and draw responses to activities connected to various aspects of the
chose novel/play.
-
The Bloom's Ball should be visually interesting, so use colored pencils, sharpies, pencil drawings
colored with crayon, or markers, to decorate each circle.
-
Before completing each of the following steps, be certain to observe where the fold lines (the chord
lines on the edges of the template circle) are. Do not write or draw the assignments on the outside of
these lines.
-
Complete the following steps in your circles. Use one circle for each of the steps. Be sure to
number each circle to match the step you are completing.
-
Do not assemble your ball until you are completely done.
