Synopses of School of Supernatural Ministry Workshops
1.
Orientation by Rev Dr Andrew Ong
This is a briefing to prepare the students to receive the maximum benefits fromthe SSM programme.
Reasons and goals of this school will be shared. The emphasis is on practical experiences whenever
possible.“Workshops”rather than “classes” is used to highlight the practical aspects rather than the
accumulation of knowledge. The aim is for students to participate, be inspired and be
motivatedtoward the supernatural realm, yet sound in doctrines and practices.

Preaching and Teaching by Rev Peter Lui
Truths are to be communicated through teaching and preaching. There are simple steps to learn how
to preach and teach effectively. Opportunity will be given to teach and preach in the workshop and
chapel services.
3.
Divine Healing by Rev Allan Chan
Divine Healing Synopsis (7-8 Jul)
Because Christ did it, He clearly commands that we, like Him, also heal and do other miracles to
confirm the Word we preach and teach. For ours is a Kingdom that is more than words - it is the
Kingdom of God and of His power! John 14:12 will be the foundational scripture for this
workshop. The workshop will reflect fruit grown out of living experience rather than academic
detachment. Biblical adherence is emphasised, but understanding that Biblical truths have to be lived
and applied before they can truly be believed and demonstrated to the glory of God. Why are some
people healed and some not? Does the authority or anointing to heal meant for every Christian? Can
seeking divine healing sometimes be against God's will? The sick will be prayed for.

Deliverance by Rev Allan Chan
Deliverance Synopsis (11-12 Aug)
The supernatural realm is real, Satan is real, demons are real. Evil spirits seek to obsess, oppress and
possess people. But the deliverance ministry isn't just about demons. Jesus preached and did
deliverance to captives of all types of bondages - we are to do the same (John 20:21). In this
workshop, learn IMPORTANT ELEMENTS of DELIVERANCE; discover answers to questions like "What
Are Strongholds and Soul Ties? & Breaking Them"; How Demons Can Sneak "Legal Rights" on
Christians; "How to Avoid Excesses and Tangent Practices", etc.
5.
Baptism of Holy Spirit by Rev Dr Patrick Lau
The workshop will provide the Biblical basis and interpretation of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The
initial physical evidence of the baptism of the Spirit is speaking in tongues. The student will learn how
to receive and be continually filled with the Holy Spirit.He will also learn how to pray for other
believers to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Opportunity will be given to pray for the baptism of
the Holy Spirit.
6.
The Gifts and Fruit of the Holy Spirit by Rev Dr Patrick Lau
The Holy Spirit provides power through the gifts and produces the character of Christ through the
fruit. The student will receive greater understanding of what the gifts of the Spirit are and how they
function. He will also learn how to cultivate the fruit of the Spirit in his life. Opportunity will be given
to practise and operate the gifts in the workshop.
7.
Prayer & Fasting by Rev James Singh
As Rev James Singh has practised prayer and fasting for prolonged period, it is good to learn from him
what prayer is all about. Practical tips will be given to the students how to pray and fast. Students are
encouraged to spend at least one meal a day during the two-day workshop to fast and pray.

The Anointing & Presence of God by Rev Dr Anthony Phua
The Bible teaches that God anoints kings, priests, prophets and others for the works He calls them to
perform. The workshop will show the importance of having the anointing of the Holy Spirit in the
ministry. Let the anointing flow in your life and ministry. There is an emphasis of the manifested
presence of God. Though God is everywhere, there are times when His presence is manifested that
people can sense His presence in a powerful way. The students need to learn how to release the
presence of God in the church and wherever they minister

Dreams & Visions by Rev Dr Anthony Phua
God speaks to human beings through dreams and visions. Christians need to know there are times
God will speak to us through dreams and visions. Know when God uses these channels and how to
interpret dreams and visions like Joseph and Daniel.
10. Supernatural Living by Pastor Jeff Yuen
There is a supernatural way of living as well as there is a natural way of living. It is important to learn
to live a life in the power of the Holy Spirit instead of living a natural life. This workshop will give us
tips how we can expect miracles and move in the power of the Holy Spirit while living in this natural
world.
11. Power Evangelism by Ps Jeff Yuen
We are commissioned by Christ not only to preach the gospel but also to heal the sick and cast out
demons. Ps. Jeff Yuen has several experiences of going into the streets and unusual places with the
power of the Holy Spirit and leading people to Christ. He will lead you into power evangelism in the
streets.
12. Pentecostal Worship by Sister Elizabeth Tan
Today some worship styles in churches are contaminated with human entertainment, emotional
displays that are not Biblical. It is time to retrace true worship that is aligned with the Word of God.
True worship will bring the presence of God in the church where God’s powers are manifested in
healing and miracles. Sis Elizabeth Tan has been greatly anointed by God to lead in worship and music
ministry for a number of years. She will help to bring you to a higher level of worship.
13. Living by Faith by Rev Alfred Ang
Faith is an important ingredient in the Christian life. It is needed for salvation, healing, baptism of the
Holy Spirit and miracles. Missionaries and ministers need to trust God in finance. Learn how heroes of
faith express their faith.
14. Spiritual Journaling by Rev Dr Andrew Ong
God has spoken to us since the beginning of Genesis till today. He told prophets and apostles to write
what He had spoken. Now Christians need to learn how to hear the voice of God and record what they
have heard. One of the powerful tools to discern the voice of God is by writing down in a journal. You
will practise spiritual journaling in this workshop.
15. Five-fold & Body Ministry by Rev Dr Andrew Ong
The Church is pictured as the Body of Christ. There is a five-fold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist,
Pastor and Teacher) recorded in Ephesian chapter 4 and other parts of the Body of Christ described in
1 Corinthians 12. We need to discover our call in the Body of Christ and function accordingly.

16. Spiritual Warfare by Rev Dr Andrew Ong
There is a conflict between God and Satan, His angels and fallen angels, the godly and the ungodly
since the fall of Lucifer. Learn who your enemy is and what his devices are. Learn the defensive and
the offensive weapons of the armour of God. Learn to be victorious in this spiritual warfare.
17. A study of God’s Healing Generals by Rev Pang Ek Kwan
It is a study of the past healing evangelists (John Alexander Dowie, Maria Woodworth-Etter, Maria
Woodworth-Etter, Aimee Semple McPherson, Charles F. Parham, William Seymour, Smith
Wigglesworth, William Branham, Jack Coe, John G. Lake, Kathryn Kuhlman, A.A. Allen and learn why
they succeeded or failed. Video clips will be screened and the teacher will facilitate and interact with
the students in discussion.
18. Personal Prophecies by Rev Gerald Tan
God gave personal prophecies to Abraham, his descendants and others as recorded in the Old
Testament. He also spoke to the disciples in the New Testament. He can speak through us by His Holy
Spirit today. There are guidelines and activation exercises that can teach you to how to prophesy
through the Spirit.
19. Hearing the Voice of God by Rev Benedict Rajan
God is speaking to us today but are we listening to His voice. Learn the different ways God speak to us.
We need to discern the voice of God from the voice of self and evil spirits. We must be sensitive to
the Holy Spirit when He speaks to us.
20. Revivals by Rev Kwek Sew Kian
God moves sovereignly among the nations and churches in times of revivals. By studying the past
revivals in the Bible and Church history, we can learn how God brings revival in us, the church and the
nation. Some great revivals are the First Century Church, Welsh Revival, Pentecostal & Charismatic
Revivals, Toronto Revival, Brownville Revival and Korean Revival will be told to inspire us to pray for
revival.
21. Holy Spirit & Missions by Rev Robert Lum
The Book of Acts is a book of missions and the Holy Spirit is the Missions Director. The Church is called
to evangelise locally and globally. Throughout the Church history, there are outstanding men and
women of God that the Holy Spirit led them out to India, China, Africa, Burma and various countries of
the world. We will examine some outstanding missionaries and how they were led to their respective
mission fields: William Carey, Hudson Taylor, David Livingstone and some female missionaries. Stories
of the modern missions will be shared.
22. Bible Survey & Interpretation by Rev Lindsey Lui
This workshop highlights the Bible is the foundation of the Supernatural living and ministry. It is the
final authority for doctrines and practices. The student will have an overview what the whole Bible is
all about and how he can interpret the Bible correctly for Christian living and ministry.
