this sheet to your finished work. Two of the assignments you choose must be something you can turn in.
Each assignment must include your name, date, and activity number. All assignments must be completed in

ABC Order- First write your
spelling words in a list.
Then write them again in
alphabetical order. Finally,
write them in reverse
alphabetical order.
Syllable word sortSort your words by the
number of syllables in
each word. In each
column include 2 new
words that have the same
number of syllables
Synonym, Antonym,
Homophone or rhyming
word Write your spelling
words once in cursive.
Then beside each word
write a synonym,
antonym, homophone or
rhyming word. Use a
dictionary or thesaurus to
help you. Be sure to do a
variety.
Spelling sentences with
adjectives-Write a
sentence using each word
in a sentence. Include at
least one adjective in
each sentence. Underline
the spelling word and
circle or highlight the
adjective that you used.
*Spelling Bee- Practice
your spelling words in
Spelling Bee style. Spell
your words out loud to a
parent or sibling.
Words Within Words- Write
each spelling word and
then write at least two
words made from the
same letters. Example:
slide side lie lid led etc
Complete this in cursive.
Practice Test- Take a practice
test. Have an adult ask you to
spell your spelling words.
Write them on a list in cursive.
Check your practice test.
Write any missed words 5
times each. This would be an
especially good activity to
complete on Wednesday
night.

practice test. You do
not have to print it,
but have someone sign
