★ ★ ★ S E N S SENSORTECHNOLOGY R T E C ★ ★ ★ From world leaders in SENSOR TECHNOLOGY comes SENSORTEC........... ★ The new ST-I Ionisation and ST-P Photoelectric Smoke Detectors form part of a brand new range of fire detectors from Nittan (UK) LTD called SENSORTEC. The ST-I and ST-P are low cost, elegantly designed, low profile detectors which are aesthetically pleasing, thus enabling them to blend unobtrusively into modern working environments. They feature the very latest technological advancements such as ASIC design, which increases reliability and performance. The ST-I and ST-P are compatible with other existing conventional fire detection systems. A new STB range of bases has been introduced to work with the SENSORTEC products, however the ST-I and ST-P are also compatible with our previous RB-3/6 type base range. SENSORTEC Conventional Ionisation Smoke Detector Model: ST-I The ST-I conventional ionisation detector utilises the dual chamber, single source principle to provide optimum response to smoke. The Radioactive source is only 33.3kBeq., (0.9µ ci), Americium 241, therefore conforming to OECD recommendations. The detector's design provides strong immunity to air velocities, contamination and RF interference. Variants: ST-I-IS c/w STB-4IS Intrinsically Safe version. ST-I-DA With Service Alarm facility. SENSORTEC Conventional Photoelectric Smoke Detector Model: ST-P The ST-P conventional photoelectric smoke detector utilises the light scatter sensing principle, the LED pulses every 8 seconds to maintain a low monitoring current. A quick charge time, (30 seconds), is also achieved. The detector incorporates an alarm verification function which requires two successive pulses before an alarm is given. (The interval between the first and second pulse is automatically reduced, to two seconds, after the first alarm condition is perceived). The detector's design provides strong immunity to air velocities, contamination and RF interference. The ST-P and ST-I have a chemically etched screen and their sensitivity is also easily confirmed in the field, using the NID-ET5 electronic tester. Variants: ST-P-DA With Service Alarm facility. ST-P-LV 12V version. LPCB REF: 041 ST-I LPCB REF: 041 ST-P SENSORTEC Conventional Base Range The base range consists as follows:STB-4 Standard 4 terminal base. STB-4R Standard base inclusive of 220 or 470 or 680 Ohm resistor (Short circuit monitor resistor). STB-4SD Standard base inclusive of Schottky Diode. STB-4SDR Standard base inclusive 220 or 470 or 680 Ohm resistor and Schottky Diode. STB-12VR Standard base inclusive of a VFCO relay, 12V operation. STB-24VR Standard base inclusive of a VFCO relay, 24V operation. STB-4IS Standard base for use with ST-I-IS Intrinsically Safe smoke detector. STB-5DA Standard base for use with ST-I/ST-P-DA Service Alarm detector.
