OPERANT CONDITIONING
Operant Conditioning: learning in which a certain behavior is reinforced or punished, resulting in
corresponding increases or decreases in the occurrence of that behavior.
Reinforcement: stimulus or event that follows a behavior and increases the likelihood that the response will be
repeated.
Punishment: stimulus or event that follows a behavior that decreases the likelihood of it being repeated.
