How to Sign Up for Direct Deposit for Student Refunds
Go to the BU Brain at http://bubrain.binghamton.edu
Click on the “Login To the BU Brain link”
To login use:
“User Name” (is the first part of the BU email address) and
“Password” Or B# and pin.
This is the “Home” window for the BU Brain.
Click on the “Student Tools” tab in order to find the Student Accounts Menu.
Next, they need to click on the “Student Account Menu” link
This is the Student Accounts Menu.
To sign up, click on the “Student Accounts EFT Authorization (Direct Deposit)” link
You will then start updating your banking information on the following page; first enter
the routing number for your bank. (This number normally appears on your checks before the account
number.)
Next, verify that the name of your bank appears correctly. Then select the type of
account; checking or savings and enter your account number.
Once you click "Submit" the transaction is complete and you will receive the next message
