COMPREHENSIVE DENTAL TREATMENT
FIRST CONSIDERATION – residents who have already established a good patient-dentist relationship should
explain their financial limitations to their dentist and request the most cost-effective treatment plan estimate before
changing dentists. There is often more than one treatment plan that will achieve the goal of oral health. It is
generally better to stick with a dentist one trusts and who knows the patient’s needs as well as their medical and
dental history. The practice’s financial manager may be able to work out an acceptable payment schedule according
to the patient’s ability to pay for services.
