Transcript
The MK 012 is a compact, high quality capacitor microphone which uses
interchangeable capsules to provide a choice of cardioid, hypercardioid or omnidirectional pickup patterns.
MK012
studio microphones
Low noise transformerless preamplifier circuitry is used to deliver high
performance in both close miking and distance miking situations, while the wide,
flat frequency response ensures that all sounds are captured with a high degree of
accuracy. A 10 dB pad is included for use in high SPL environments. The capsules,
which screw onto the microphone body, utilise a precision, integral connection
system to ensure reliable electrical contact at all times.
The Oktava MK012 is suitable for use in any situation where an accurate sound is
required, and the small physical size of the system makes it ideal for use in
broadcast, sound for picture, installation, sound reinforcement and theatre
situations as well as in the recording studio. When used for miked vocals, it is
strongly recommended that the microphone be used in conjunction with a pop
filter.
Used in pairs, the MK012’s are perfectly suited for both coincident and spaced
stereo miking techniques, as well as for overhead useage in live and studio
situations. Factory matched pairs can be specially ordered.
The MK012 is also available as a single capsule microphone, giving the option to
later purchase the other capsules. This is known as the MK012a.
