leukemia used in the adjuvant/curative/neo-adjuvant setting.

Regimen Abstract
Tretinoin 45 mg/m /day (in 2 divided doses) PO x 30-90 days (until complete
remission)
Tretinoin 45 mg/m2/day (in 2 divided doses)PO on alternate weeks (1 week on, 1 week
off) (APL maintenance)
Induction:
Tretinoin 45 mg/m2/day (in 2 divided doses) PO;
Arsenic trioxide 0.15 mg/kg/day IV.
Until CR or for a maximum of 60 days

Consolidation (low/intermediate risk):
Tretinoin 45 mg/m2/day (in 2 divided doses) PO days 1-14 (every 28 days) x 7 courses;
Arsenic trioxide 0.15 mg/kg/day IV 5 days per week x 4 weeks, Q8weeks x 4 courses

Consolidation (high risk):
Cycle 1:
Tretinoin 45 mg/m2/day (in 2 divided doses) PO days 1-28;

Mercaptopurine 75 mg/m2/day PO days 1-21;
Methotrexate 20 mg/m2 PO weekly
