What is a Scientist?
There is not just one way a scientist looks. It
is a way to discover YOUR world.
Different Types of Scientists and What They Do:
Archaeologists: study existing and ancient human
cultures and their lifestyle.
Astronomers: study stars, planets and galaxies.
Botanists: study the plant kingdom, classification of
plants and plant habitats.
Ecologists: study the relationship between living
organisms and their ecosystem or environment.
Entomologist: study insects

Ichthyologists: study fish
Lepidopterists: study of moths, butterflies.
Marine biologists: study organisms that live in the
