students were given an
information sheet. This
information sheet needs to be
returned on Wednesday,
February 10th.
This coming week is going to
be an exciting week for the
students. They will get to
meet Officer Phil, learn about
Jump Rope for the Heart, and
have a Valentine’s Day party.
We will be creating Valentine’s
Day bags for the students to
put their Valentine’s in – you
do not need to make one.

Letter Recognition: Practicing letters that we have learned to this point.
High Frequency Words: one, two, three, four, five
Color Words: White
Phonics: consonant blends; bl, cl, fl, sl, nd, sk, tr, dr, cr
Topic 10: Addition: Stories About Joining; More Joining; Joining Groups; Using the Plus Sign; Finding
Sums; Addition Sentences; Problem Solving by Drawing a Picture.
Handwriting: Practice writing First and Last names (First letter uppercase, the rest lowercase) ,
sentences, HF words, letters, numbers 0-100.
Reading- Building Words with letter cards; Have your child try to read
words/ sentences in magazines/books. Handwriting – Rainbow write
student name/ trace, write HF words, Practice Kid Writing at Home! We
are working on writing 2 sentences!
