1Sa 8:4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to
Samuel unto Ramah,
5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways:
now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us.
And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all
that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected
me, that I should not reign over them.
8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought
them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me,
and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.
9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto
them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.
1Sa 8:19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of
Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;
20 That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may
judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.
21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he
rehearsed them in the ears of the LORD.
22 And the LORD said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and
make them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye
every man unto his city.
Deu 17:14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy
God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and
shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are
about me;
15 Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the
LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt
thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over
thee, which is not thy brother.
18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his
kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of
that which is before the priests the Levites:
19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days
of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all
the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he
turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the
left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he,
and his children, in the midst of Israel.
Gen 17:6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make
nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will
bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people
shall be of her.
Gen 35:11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful
and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee,
and kings shall come out of thy loins;
Jdg 8:22 Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over
us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son's son also: for thou hast
delivered us from the hand of Midian.
23 And Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither
shall my son rule over you: the LORD shall rule over you.

225 And Christ on earth was an Eagle. When He died, He was a
Priest, so that made Him a Lamb. Is that right? And when He
comes again, He's King, so He'll be a Lion (Amen.), the Lion of the
tribe of Juda. Amen. He is a Eagle, a Lamb, and a Lion (Amen.);
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; Prophet, Priest, and King; He that
was, which is, and shall come, the Almighty; Alpha and Omega,
from the beginning to the end, the eternal God.
1Sa 10:20 And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to
come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.
21 When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by
their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of
Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be
found.
1Sa 10:24 And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom
the LORD hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the
people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the
king.
1Sa 9:15 Now the LORD had told Samuel in his ear a day before
Saul came, saying,
16 To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the
land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over
my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of
the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their
cry is come unto me.
17 And when Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said unto him, Behold
the man whom I spake to thee of! this same shall reign over my
people.
1Sa 10:9 And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go
from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs
came to pass that day.
10 And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of
prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he
prophesied among them.
11 And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw
that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the
people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the
son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
1Sa 11:7 And he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces,
and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of
messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh not forth after Saul and
after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And the fear of
the LORD fell on the people, and they came out with one
consent.
1Sa 12:3 Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD,
and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass
have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I
oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind
mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.
1Sa 12:12 And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children
of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king
shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king.
13 Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and
whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king
over you.
14 If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and
not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both
ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the
LORD your God:
1Sa 13:13 And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly:
thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God,
which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have
established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.
1Sa 13:14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD
hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath
commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou
hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.
1Sa 15:3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that
they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman,
infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
1Sa 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt
offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to
obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as
iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD,
he hath also rejected thee from being king.
24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the
commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the
people, and obeyed their voice.
25 Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me,
that I may worship the LORD.
26 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast
rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from
being king over Israel.
Hos 13:9 O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine
help.
10 I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all
thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king
and princes?
11 I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away in my
wrath.

E-18 When a man once catches that vision of the invisible
God and know that He's always present, there's something that
stabilizes that man's thinking; it stabilizes his actions, and in the
time of distress and trouble, it'll still make him look upward and
above the things that are happening around him, because he's
looking at the Unseen, yet by promise.

Some people thinks humility is something that ought to wear a
skirt. No, no. You misunderstand that. Jesus, the humblest Man
that ever lived, He could plait ropes together, and look on them
with anger, and run them out of the temple. Yes, sir. Certainly.
113 Oh, my, how I could take a text on that for a few minutes. Yes, sir.
You're the God's sheep, too. Disease has took a hold of you. I ain't got very
much, not--not even a slingshot, but I got the Word. I'm coming after you,
tonight, to bring you back. I'm coming to rescue you, with the Word of the
Lord. I don't know nothing about medicine and cutting on with knives, and
things, but This I've proved. I know that This is right, so I'm coming after you
sheep, to bring you back to the shady green pastures of God's love again.
God, help me with this little slingshot.

115 Now that's the way we're doing tonight, having faith in Jesus, and
persistently we're going to stand on His untouched Word. And we believe

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we
shall reign on the earth.

53 .... And hath made us kings and priests unto God... his Father;
to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
"He has made us priests and kings unto God." "Us" is plural, not
"made me priest and a king", but "made us," the Church.
Now, he's addressing these seven churches, for it's Seven Church
Ages.Now, he said, "Dominion and glory, and be to Him for ever and
ever. Has made us priests." Did you ever know what a priest is, what
his office is? A priest is to make sacrifice, to make intercession. And
over in Hebrews It said that we, the Church, is the royal priesthood, a
royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people (See?), a holy
nation, peculiar people, royal priesthood, offering (Here it is now.)
offering spiritual sacrifices. Every man and woman that comes to God
enters into the veil.
