Personnel Administration’s and BOTAŞ’s opinion.

National System Operator (BOTAŞ)


BOTAS Transmission Co. (as the national system operator), will be
responsible for;
 the operation and coordination of transmission network
 taking the necessary precautions for the operation of the system.

LNG terminal operating activities:
“Liquification of natural gas, temporary
storage and re-gasification.”

Incentives for private sector
In order to support the LNG terminal and underground storage
investments:
 Investors who increase capacity or build new LNG terminals
and underground storage facilities untill 31/12/2025, will
benefit from incentives (5 year extension with the Council of
Ministers’ decision)
Organized wholesale natural gas
market
Operating the organized wholesale natural gas markets with the
financial settlement transactions and other activities.
