We are pleased to announce the following additions to our suite of investment products
built on simplicity and choice. They are available for sale effective April 20, 2015, pending
regulatory approval.

Empire Life Monthly Income GIF:
• Diverse sources of yield includes government bonds, investment grade bonds, high yield
bonds, preferred shares, investment trusts and dividend-paying common stocks
• Balanced mandate with neutral asset mix of 45% fixed income and 55% equity - seeks to
provide investors with diversification and reduced volatility
• Available in all GIF series (75/75, 75/100, 100/100) and Class Plus 2.1, our GWB

Q:
What point of sale materials should I use?
The chart below outlines the point of sale documents required for our products. You
can begin using these documents on April 20, 2015, when our additions become
available for sale, pending regulatory approval.
Please note that inserts will be used to update the 75/100 application for the launch of
the Empire Life GIF 75/75 series. The insert and application must be signed and
submitted.
The insert will be included when ordering paper copies or when printing from the web
site. It is also available at Launch Central so you can update your current supply of
applications. If application is being made for the Empire Life GIF 75/100 contract, the
insert is not required.
Addendums will be used to update the Empire Life GIF 100/100 (INV-942) and Class
Plus 2.1 (INV-944) Information Folders for the launch of the Monthly Income GIF.
The Addendums will be included when you order the Information Folder. You can
update your current supply of Folders by printing off the Addendum at Launch Central.

A description of the key features of the individual variable insurance contract is contained in the Information Folder for
the product being considered. Any amount that is allocated to a Segregated Fund is invested at the risk of the
contract owner and may increase or decrease in value.
