A proven way to improve your art skills is to study under an artist who has mastered what
you want to achieve. A great way to do this is by taking an art workshop in 2014. The
key to learning and growing is discipline and consistent practice. But there is a caveat.
Doing the same things over and over again improperly will keep you frustrated and
stuck! That’s why having a mentor or good teacher is imperative to progress. An
objective eye will assist in transforming your art skills faster than trying to figure
things out on your own. With the right artistic guidance, your skills will progress
significantly within a year. So what are you waiting for? Sign up for an art workshop
in 2014 at the Creative Chateau Art & Framing Gallery, Located in Ashland, Ohio!
If you will be traveling from out of town, there are 4 hotels within 1/2 mile of the
Creative Chateau Gallery, plus lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Paint Plein Air in Amish Country

of the city. Join Ohio Artists, Terri Meyer and Sharon Weaver in a 3 day plein air art

doesn’t cooperate, no problem, we have access to a 4200 sq foot barn with lots of
windows to look out and paint the landscape. Come rain or shine, you will have a
wonderful painting experience. What to expect at the plein air workshop? Day one
will be spent painting at the Creative Chateau property, instruction in the morning, after
lunch you will paint under the guidance of the instructor (Terri Meyer or Sharon
Weaver), at the end of the day there will be a critique of the student paintings. On the
second and third painting days you will be taken to various countryside settings. As an
added bonus, a one hour hatha yoga class will be offered in the morning, to get your body
limber and mind in a serene peaceful space. This will be an experience that you’ll what
