Pamela McGovern is senior counsel at Aust Legal where she works in the fields of commercial transactions, real estate, litigation management, and acts as counsel in the construction and surety industries. She is also an arbitrator with the Canadian Commercial Arbitration Centre. Previously, Pamela was General counsel at Hydro-­‐
Québec for over 5 years and was a partner with Lavery, a major Quebec based law firm where she practiced for over 25 years. She has extensive experience in international transactions and has successfully represented clients before all levels of Court in Quebec and in arbitration. Since September 2015, she is the Chair of the Canadian Irish Studies Foundation, which supports the School for Canadian Irish Studies at Concordia University in Montreal. She is presently the Vice-­‐Chair Surety and Vice-­‐Chair International of the Construction committee of IADC. She was the Vice-­‐President International of the IADC from 2011 to 2014.
