- posterior br.: mastoid process

ทอดออกจำกขอบหลังของ SCM บริ เวณเดียวกับ great
auricular nerve ทอดข้ำม SCM และผ่ำนไปด้ำนหน้ำ

ส่ วนล่ำงของลำคอ ตอนบนของอก และไหล่

cervical spinal nerve 1,2,3,4 (C.1-4)

1.1 gray rami communicantes
1.2 ventral rami of C.1 to C.N. XII
- supply Geniohyoid muscle
- supply Thyrohyoid muscle
- form superior root of ansa cervicalis
1.3 C 2, 3 & 4 (sensory branches) to C.N.XI
- supply S.C.M.
- supply Trapezius muscle
