Karon
Katarina Gligorevic Bio: Katarina Gligorevic is a Toronto-based writer and producer and film sales
and marketing consultant. Her writing has appeared I n two Coach House Books anthologies, as well as
publications such as POV Magazine and Exclaim! Her producing credits include three independent
feature films and she is currently going into production on the feature BIRDLAND, with notable
Canadian filmmaker Peter Lynch. She has worked closely with high schools across Canada in her role
at REEL CANADA for the past eight years
Marvin Karon Bio: Marvin Karon is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, and the
University of Toronto. He runs SHAKESPEARIENCE, an interactive workshop that engages students
with the work of William Shakespeare. He has also appeared in theatrical, film and television
productions in Canada and the US including TV shows ROOKIE BLUE, THE BOARDER and the
feature film BLINDNESS. He has worked with REEL CANADA for a decade as a facilitator.
