Opposed Weld Heads
WH1125A - WH1125M - WH1250A - WH1250M
The WH1 weld heads offer precision and repeatability at an
affordable price. The WH1125 weld heads have 1/8” (0.3 cm)
opposed electrodes and are ideal for typical opposed resistance
welding applications. Once connected, these weld heads can be
adjusted for your particular application. The weld head’s electrodes pressure can be adjusted to ensure a strong weld. Head
travel height ranges from 0 to 20 cm.
The WH1125A weld heads have pneumatic weld heads that
require an air compressor. Any size compressor will work since
the weld head comes equipped with a built-in pressure regulator,
mounted to the side of the weld head. Once connected, the air
pressure and head travel speed can be set to any preference.
Welds are quickly and easily made with each compression of the
included electric foot pedal.
The WH1125M weld heads are manually operated. These weld
heads require manually lowering the weld head’s electrodes
by means of a foot pedal and a chain that travels through the
work bench. Pressing on the pedal results in smooth vertical head travel for precision and control when welding. The
WH1125M weld heads have lower initial cost and are well suited for smaller production runs.
For applications requiring larger spot sizes, DIMA’s WH1250A and WH1250M accept 1/4” (0.6 cm) electrodes.
