Hello:
The company Magie d'apprendre, established approximately ten years ago, has been promoting French
education through workshops, training sessions, refreshers, and lessons, as well as providing a variety of
learning strategies. In addition to providing these various services, we have developed the educational
game, VER-B-PRO.
I am excited to share a few details about this educational tool with you.
VER-B-PRO is appropriate for learners at various levels in their French education and allows for:
(1) Practicing the conjugation of regular, irregular and particular verbs in various moods and tenses
to facilitate their written and oral integration and usage.
(2) Including, if desired, language learning objectives over the course of the French training.
(3) Each individual to set personal challenges regarding a group of verbs or a particular verb.
(4) Making and reworking personal challenges to improve skills. The game can be adapted
according to the areas the players wish to target, as well their level of language.
(5) Stimulation of cognitive conflict to improve the general use of verbs.
(6) Teachers to note the progress or struggles of a group or individual.
(7) Teachers to specify an aspect that requires more attention (a particular tense, the agreement, the
sequence of tenses, various structures in the sentence, the place of the adverb, subjective or
objective personal pronouns, the interrogative, etc.).
I am prepared to give a presentation of this educational game to teachers and/or students to explain
different ways to introduce and use the game, the educational tool, as well as various outcomes of
learning the proper usage of verbs during an oral or a written communication while playing the
VER-B-PRO game as a team. I believe it is more enjoyable to learn how to conjugate verbs while
having fun as a team.
