hours and 15$ for any hour after that. If you rake for 6 hours, how much money will you
earn?
(20 x 3)+ (15 x 3) = 60 + 45 = 105$
14) You had a cold on Monday, but still went to school. On Wednesday, 5 of your
classmates caught the cold. From each of those persons, 5 more caught it on Friday. From
each of the persons who got the cold on Friday, 5 more caught it on Sunday. How many
people caught the cold on Sunday?
53 = 125
15) Suppose you take a piece of paper and cut it in half. You put the two halves together
and cut them both in halves. You put those pieces together and cut them in half. You
continue this process two more times. How many pieces of paper do you have?
