GEOMETRY REVIEW – PARALLEL LINES Transversal – A line that intersects two or more other lines Corresponding Angles – Two angles occupying corresponding positions when lines are intersected by a transversal. If the lines are parallel, then corresponding angles are equal. Alternate Interior Angles – Two angles lying between two lines on opposite sides of a transversal. If the lines are parallel, then alternate interior angles are equal.
