UL - innervation of muscles
The musculocutaneous nerve supplies the muscles in the anterior (flexor)
compartment of the forearm. (BBC)
Biceps brachii
Brachialis
Coracobrachialis
The radial nerve supplies the muscles in the posterior (extensor) compartment of
the arm and forearm.
Arm
Triceps
Anconeus
Forearm (superficial layer)
Brachioradialis
Extensor carpi radialis longus
Extensor carpi radialis brevis
Extensor carpi ulnaris
Extensor digitorum (communis)
Extensor digiti minimi

The median nerve supplies the muscles in the anterior (flexor) compartment of the
forearm and the thenar muscles.

Opponens pollicis
Lumbricals – lateral 2 to index and middle fingers
The ulnar nerve supplies 2 muscles in the anterior (flexor) compartment of the
forearm and the rest of the muscles in the palm.
