However, most of us will only come into contact with people from the ABO

c- In 80% of the population ABO antigens appear in saliva, semen and
vaginal secretions hence blood type can be determined without blood
d- Rh blood group – (rhesus monkey) if you have the antigen you are Rh+ if
you don’t you are Rh-. 85% of white people are +, 95% of blacks and
100% of Asians are positive.
1- If an Rh negative person person receives Rh positive blood, the body
will make antibodies to it. If a second transfusion of Rh positive blood
is received later an agglutination reaction will occur.
Blood Genotypes and Phenotypes
Co-Dominance
Incomplete Dominance
Problems:
a- A man heterozygous for A type blood has children with a woman with the
recessive phenotype. What are the possible genotypes and phenotypes of their
children?
b- A man and woman are heterozygous for A and B type blood respectively. If
they have children, what are the possible genotypes and phenotypes of these
children?
c- A woman is suing a man for paternity. She has the AB genotype, the man is
heterozygous for B and the baby has the recessive phenotype. Is this man the
