In 2013-14 all grade 3-5 students will participate in a comprehensive
Math BAT.
Most 6-8 grade students will take a comprehensive Math BAT.
However, those students enrolled in Algebra, Geometry or Biology in
grades 6-8 will take either Algebra, Geometry or Biology instead of
a comprehensive Math or Science BAT.
Algebra/Geometry/Biology/US History/Civics are enrollment
based. If a MS or HS student (6-12) is enrolled in one of the classes
on page 2 of the BAT manual, they take the corresponding BAT
EOC assessment.
All 3-10 students will participate in a comprehensive Reading BAT.
All grade 5 students and most grade 8 students will participate in a
comprehensive Science BAT (exception biology at MS).
Exceptions: If a student normally does not take the FCAT (i.e. ESE)
or is a Retake student, school staff may exempt them from testing.
