HOMEWORK NORMS
Homework is due at the beginning of class
LATE homework will be accepted for no more than 70%
credit. You must come in during a scheduled
tutoring session and explain the homework, within
ONE WEEK of the original due date.
Homework will be graded based on completion.
NORM-- write basic info/ show work
If you don’t know what to do,
WRITE down the basic info and what you are trying to find
WRITE what you tried to do to solve and
WRITE a question about your “point of confusion”
If you follow these steps, showing me you made a good
effort to complete your homework, you will get full points.
Use complete heading on ALL work submitted
for this class. Work with an incomplete
heading will be considered LATE!

respectively, then the midpoint, M, of AB
is given by the following formula (Midpoint Formula).

1) Write the midpoint formula on top of your paper.
2) Plot the points on graph paper.
3) Find the midpoint graphically and then algebraically,
showing your set up for each.
(1) ( 1, 2) and (3, 6)
(2) ( -2, -3) and (4, 5)
(3) (-3, 2) and (3, -2)
(4) ( -3, -5) and (0, 4)

Angle Vocabulary- summarize in your

• An angle consists of two
different rays that have the
same initial point. The rays
are the sides of the angle.
The initial point is the vertex
of the angle.
