Graduate Student Final Project (Summer 2014):
This Project uses Geographic Information System (GIS) data to formulate optimization algorithms to plan
routing logistics for citrus delivery from South Florida Farmers. The project then shows how IT systems
can be integrated with automatic data capture devices and database management systems to provide
effective management of citrus collection operations.
Fuel Supply Optimization-: Inbound Supply Logistics (Spring 2014): Six Sigma Project
To address management's concern of the large budget variances and improve the profitability of the
business, this project aims to measure and analyze the causes of budget variances and profit loss through
the use of Lean Sigma tools.
